Magazine Spread

The Magazine Spread was the second of the three major assignments. We were given a lot of free rein with this assignment, having the opportunity to write about virtually whatever we wanted as long as we followed correct AP style and chose a valid genre of writing to include. This assignment was also a learning curve in figuring out how to navigate Adobe InDesign. I chose to write an op-ed and a recipe piece, tying together my overarching themes of tradition, growing up, and what it means to let go of not-so-pleasant memories as one moves through life.
